Remember how I told you that I come from a very talented family?
I really wasn't kidding.
I'm going to take a moment and brag about my cousin Matt. He's extremely talented in the art department and that's putting it mildly. My cousin has an endless supply of artistic talent that I can only dream of. What I lack he definitely makes up for! I guess in artistic families each one has their own special kind of magical talent. Mine is beading and sewing while his is art and working with his hands to create artistic masterpieces like the one I'm about to show you. I'm in awe every time my cousin bounces ideas off of me and then posts a new project.
This is one of his crowning glories. It's his Cathedral Altar.
Isn't this stunning? It's made of cardboard- seriously. I'm not kidding!
He built this with his imagination and his own two hands.
I watched him do it in stages and have been stunned by the process.
Here it's all decorated for Easter. It's quite magnificent isn't it?
I'll post a gallery of a few more pictures of it and I'll enclose a link to view his Facebook page. He has a lot more art there so you can enjoy his many beautiful pieces and projects! I'm so proud of him- can't you tell?
To see more of Matt's work, please visit Agape and support all Artists. They need all the support and nurturing they can get so that culture survives for generations to come! Without Art- the world cannot know BEAUTY!
